After earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Towson University, I went on to complete a master’s degree in social work at the University of Maryland. Since then, I’ve dedicated nearly 30 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. My journey has taken me through a wide range of settings – residential care, healthcare facilities, outpatient clinics, home environments, and now private practice – each one deepening my passion for supporting others.
Beyond this clinical work, my roles as a nursing home and assisted living administrator, as well as a life care manager, have further fueled my passion for empowering others, as well as provided me with a unique perspective on caregiving. Caregiving – whether professional or personal, can bring immense rewards, yet can also be profoundly exhausting, leading to burnout, grief, and emotional strain. These roles have also allowed me to witness firsthand how major life transitions can shake an individual’s sense of identity, purpose, and security, leaving them searching for stability and meaning.
In my practice, I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will explore your challenges and identify meaningful strategies to help you reclaim a sense of peace, purpose, and fulfillment in your life.
Let’s work together to build a future that feels brighter, more balanced, and aligned with your values. No matter where you are on your journey, there is hope, and there is a path forward – one step at a time.
